Era Motorsport Announces Open Bronze Seat in No. 18 LMP2 for 2026 IMSA WeatherTech Season

Era Motorsport, a multiple-time Rolex 24 at Daytona-winning team and former Asian Le Mans Series champion, today announced it has an open Bronze-rated seat available in its No. 18 Oreca 07 LMP2 entry for the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship (IWSC).

The program is a turnkey, season-long campaign including testing and race support, presenting a rare opportunity for a funded Bronze-rated driver seeking a fully supported LMP2 season in IMSA and potentially other LMP2 events. Era Motorsport will provide a full-time Indianapolis-based crew, on-track engineering support, professional coaching, hospitality, and media services as part of the package.

“As multiple-time winners of the coveted Rolex 24, we already have everything in place — the entry, the mechanics, the cars, and the infrastructure — so we can give the right Bronze driver a real shot at their dream season,” said team owner Kyle Tilley. “We tailor each client program to match their goals and schedule, with full professional support on and off the track.”

Era Motorsport brings significant LMP2 experience. Since 2020 the team has competed in more than 40 professional LMP2 races and worked with high-profile drivers including Ryan Dalziel, Oliver Jarvis, Paul-Loup Chatin, Christian Rasmussen, Colin Braun, and Connor Zilisch. In 2025 the team expanded into Europe with a Ferrari 296 GT3 program in the 24H Series and continues to maintain and race a range of modern-historic prototypes.

The team’s client-first approach means the successful applicant can shape a season that suits their aspirations, whether that’s pursuing a championship run, targeting marquee endurance races, or building a mix of IMSA and international LMP2 competition, all supported by Era’s experienced crew.

Interested parties should contact Kyle Tilley at kyle@eramotorsport.com to discuss seat availability, commercial terms, and program specifics.

About Era Motorsport

Era Motorsport has deep roots in racing. Founder Kyle Tilley began competing at the age of six, following in the footsteps of his father, and he never looked back. In 2018, he established Era Motorsport in Indianapolis, Indiana, with a vision of delivering unmatched excellence in historic racing.

It didn’t take long for the team to expand into professional sports car competition. By 2021, Era had claimed the first of its two Rolex 24 at Daytona victories and secured a full-time entry in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. In 2025, the team ventured into GT3 racing, entering a Ferrari 296 GT3 in the Creventic 24H Series.

Throughout, Era Motorsport has remained committed to historic racing, expanding its footprint back into Tilley’s home country of England. The team has made multiple appearances at Goodwood, including the 2024 Members’ Meeting, where they fielded seven Shadow Can-Am cars for the Can-Am Cup Celebration and claimed their first Goodwood win in the Graham Hill Trophy.

Looking ahead, Era Motorsport continues to grow its presence across the racing world, ushering in a new era of motorsport excellence.
