Era Motorsport Announces 2026 24H Series Campaign with Eye on Broader GT3 Opportunities

AVEBURY, England — 4 March 2026: Era Motorsport is pleased to announce its entry into the 2026 24H Series by Creventic with the No. 81 Ferrari 296 GT3. Last year’s campaign marked the successful LMP2 team’s first foray into GT3 competition, where it secured its first overall podium in the category and finished third in the GT3 Pro-Am class of the 2025 24H Series European Championship.

The two-time Rolex 24 at Daytona-winning team will use the European Series’ five-round calendar to further develop its GT3 programme, aiming to apply lessons learned to championships across the globe.

“Creventic has provided us with an incredible opportunity — not only as a team, but for our drivers,” said Team Owner Kyle Tilley. “The amount of track time across a 24H Series weekend is virtually unmatched. Last year, it allowed us to give our clients the seat time they needed to build confidence and pace in the car, while also giving our team hundreds of hours of valuable data and operational experience as we continued developing the Ferrari 296 GT3 and refining our processes behind the scenes.

“Heading into 2026, our goal is not only to compete at the front in the 24H Series European Championship, but to use this platform strategically. The depth of running and the level of competition provide the perfect environment to sharpen every aspect of our programme. We intend to apply what we learn here across the wider world of GT3 racing, whether that’s GT World Challenge, WEC, IMSA, or wherever the opportunity leads.”

The team begins its campaign later this month at the Michelin 12H Mugello, 20–22 March 2026. The three-day event will be preceded by two days of track day sessions, with practice and qualifying on Friday 20 March, followed by racing on Saturday from 12:10–17:40 and Sunday from 12:00–18:30.

Last year, Era Motorsport secured its first GT3 podium at Mugello and hopes to build on that experience in 2026.

The four-driver line-up for the No. 81 includes 2024 British Touring Car Champion Jake Hill, Le Mans and Rolex 24 at Daytona winner Ryan Dalziel, historic racing specialist Oliver Bryant, and long-time gentleman driver Dwight Merriman.

“I’m really, really happy to be joining Era Motorsport again for the Creventic 24H Series,” said Hill. “We had such a fantastic time last year, and the highlight for me was definitely the podium at Mugello. I felt I played a big part in that result with my wet stint in the first half of the race. There were so many great memories and firsts as well — including competing in two 24-hour races in my first year of GT racing, which was an incredible experience and learning curve.

“I feel more ready than ever to push hard with Era Motorsport in 2026. I’m proud to stand alongside my teammates again, as we did last year. A huge thank you to Kyle and Dwight for the continued support. It means a great deal as I continue building my sports car career.”

Dalziel is looking forward to his second year in the 24H Series as he enters his sixth season with Era Motorsport.

“I’m really looking forward to our second year in Creventic,” he said. “It’s my sixth season with Era, so I’m excited to continue with my racing family and to build on our Ferrari European programme.

“Mugello was a strong race for us last year and it suits the car well, so naturally we’re aiming for the podium. The team has put a tremendous amount of work in over the off-season, and we’re in a much better place in terms of preparation and performance than we were at this time last year, when there were still plenty of unknowns.”

After joining the team for the 2025 Michelin 24H Dubai and 24H Barcelona, Bryant will expand his role to a full-season driver, competing in all five rounds of the 2026 European Series.

“I’m excited to be joining Ere Motorsport for the 2026 24H Series,” he said. “Having joined the line up at Dubai and Barcelona last year, it’s great to be welcomed back as part of the full European season. The team did a great job learning the car last year and I’m sure we’ll pick up where we left off with strong performances from the outset. I’d like to thank Dwight and Kyle for the opportunity and I can’t wait for the opening round at Mugello later this month.”

About Era Motorsport

Era Motorsport has deep roots in racing. Founder Kyle Tilley began competing at the age of six, following in the footsteps of his father, and he never looked back. In 2018, he established Era Motorsport in Indianapolis, Indiana, with a vision of delivering unmatched excellence in historic racing.

It didn’t take long for the team to expand into professional sports car competition. By 2021, Era had claimed the first of its two Rolex 24 at Daytona victories and secured a full-time entry in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. In 2025, the team ventured into GT3 racing, entering a Ferrari 296 GT3 in the Creventic 24H Series.

Throughout, Era Motorsport has remained committed to historic racing, expanding its footprint back into Tilley’s home country of England. The team has made multiple appearances at Goodwood, including the 2024 Members’ Meeting, where they fielded seven Shadow Can-Am cars for the Can-Am Cup Celebration and claimed their first Goodwood win in the Graham Hill Trophy.

Looking ahead, Era Motorsport continues to grow its presence across the racing world, ushering in a new era of motorsport excellence.
